Ethan Nagel – Marine Scout Sniper, Silver Star recipient, Ukraine, family

On our fourth podcast in the EKKO series, we interview Ethan Nagel who was visiting Norway from the USA.

Ethan was a Scout Sniper in the Marine Corps who deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. He was selected to assist a Special Forces team as they conducted missions in Afghanistan and that is where a battle took place that changed his life forever. He was to receive the Silver Star for valor on that day.

After many years of military service, Ethan contracted for the US Government but then chose to pursue his passion in film production.

However, that longing for adventure was never far from his thoughts and when an opportunity came up to go to Ukraine and join a team rescuing children from the front lines, he jumped at the chance and spent weeks doing exactly that. This is where he met NFM’s content manager – Adam Read.
