Industrial Designer / Textile Designer
Currently we are looking for a passionate person to join our design team as:
Industrial Designer / Textile Designer
Location: Lębork, Poland
You should be comfortable working on a broad range of innovative products from concept phase all the way to production. You will work in a fast-paced, results-based team environment with positive attitude.
Responsibilities
To be a key part of our product development team by creating highly functional solutions that meet tenders’ specifications as well as product manufacturing and cost. You will be creating protective equipment to be used by soldiers in hostile environments. Our process requires close collaboration with textiles engineering and technological teams to ensure optimal product manufacturability and functional integrity.
Main Tasks
- Analyze product/system requirements and define technical solutions.
- Plan the development of the project, including schedule and budget.
- Supervise the production of prototypes in studio.
- Verification of the prototype and acceptance of the design prior to implementation for production.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as Industrial Designer, or Textile Designer
- Very good English (communication and technical)
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Knowledge of PDM or PLM systems
- Analytical person with the ability to think toward functions not objects
- Bechelor’s Degree in Industrial or Textile Design.
- Having experience in the System Engineering is a plus.
- Knowledge of French will be beneficiary.
