Location: Nettetal, Germany
For the position as Marketing Manager, we are now looking for an operational marketing professional who has a strong competence and interest in digital marketing and copywriting.
The Marketing Manager will act as an operational lead in Germany and coordinate marketing activities with NFM Group Marketing & Communications Team. The position is a part of matrix organization and reports both to a local manager in Hexonia and to the Marketing Director in NFM Group, located in Norway.
As our Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the marketing project process from beginning to end is efficiently executed with positive results; planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events, in addition to ensuring the production of marketing materials for the sales department in accordance with the current marketing strategy and plan.
We are looking for a native German speaker and passionate wordsmith with excellent skills when it comes to content and copy writing. A background from journalism or as a copywriter could be an advantage.
Furthermore, you take pride in understanding our target audience to deliver publication-ready, creative, SEO-finished content for our German website, brochures, tenders, marketing campaigns and social media ads.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and execute marketing projects and campaigns from beginning to end in accordance with the overall marketing plan
- Write convincing and concise copy for marketing, social media, company website, presentations, and sales material
- Coordinate tasks and projects with content manager, designers, etc.
- Write press releases, create and update relevant media lists and handle distribution of press releases, monitoring the media landscape and report
- Work with management / sales team to support with marketing activities, deadlines, budgets, objectives, etc.
- Responsibility for the company’s stock of marketing materials such as samples, giveaways, presentation materials, etc.
- Support in translating marketing content from English to German
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or related field. Extensive relevant experience can compensate for the lack of formal education
- 3-5 years of experience from marketing and copy writing. The ideal candidate has also experience from marketing in B2G / B2B companies, marketing automation, CRM, lead generation and lead nurturing
- Familiar with digital tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, Office, Google Analytics, Hubspot, Facebook Business Manager
- Native German and excellent grammar and writing skills, with second to none proof reading and editing skills

- You cope with stress well and understand that the position at times will require more of you than normal
- It is an advantage if you also master the languages English and / or French in addition to fluent German
The position requires international travel.
