NFM is growing and looking for a B.Sc./M.Sc. Engineer with both theoretical and hands-on skills to join our R&D team in Ski, Norway. This department develops next-generation body armor products based on in-depth knowledge of composite manufacturing. You will be working on new equipment and processes related to our innovative and relatively young pressing technology.

Work and responsibility:
  • Research and develop manufacturing tools, -processes, -machines, and -equipment
  • Design- and purchase new equipment
  • Supplier follow-up
  • Preparations for serial production in our production facilities in Norway and abroad
  • Identify potential improvements in our production facilities
  • Some international traveling will be required
Education and experience:
  • University degree in relevant topics (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering)
  • CAD software
  • Hydraulic and/or other mechanical machines
  • Some years of relevant experience are positive but not required
Personal qualities:
  • Hands-on
  • Ambitious
  • Structured
  • Dedicated to scope of work and timelines
  • Team player committed to achieve results both individually and together with colleagues
  • High level of engagement and positive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Good oral and written skills in Norwegian and English
