Textile Products Constructor / Pattern Maker
Currently we are looking for a passionate person to join our design team as:
Textile Products Constructor / Pattern Maker
Location: Lębork, Poland
You should be comfortable working on a broad range of innovative products from concept phase all the way to production. You will work in a fast-paced, results-based team environment with positive attitude.
Responsibilities
Prepare patterns in Gerber Accumark system according to design and functional requirements.
Main Tasks
- Maintain an open communication with designers and technologist to ensure smooth transition of designs into products
- Be able to work with various textile products that have complicated pattern requirements
- Conduct proper sample fittings and issue necessary adjustments or corrections
- Inspect the accuracy of sample pattern to ascertain that it follows design and functional requirements
- Alter sample if necessary, to satisfy cost specification and manufacturing limitations
- Grade the patterns according to the required range of sizes (Gerber Accumark)
- Prepare size tables
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as Pattern Maker
- good English (communication and technical)
- knowledge of Gerber Accumark or similar
- secondary technical specialized education in the scope of clothing construction
- analytical person with the ability to think toward functions not objects
